If you’ve never been to an escape the room game, then you’re probably wondering what the experience is like. Playing computer-based fun room escape games is fun but doesn’t really compare to the real thing.

With the popularity of escape the room games soaring all over the country and worldwide, a few TV shows have gone the length of exhibiting the escape room experience. From fictional sitcoms to reality shows, TV has jumped all in with this exciting and adventurous experience. Here are a few of my favorites.

The Big Bang Theory

Almost every escape the room enthusiast has watched this episode of The Big Bang Theory. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, it’s an American comedy that has been running on CBS since September 2007. It’s 11th season will be airing from September 25, 2017.

In the 8th season, the 16th episode shows part of the cast going to an escape room. It’s the Dr. David Saltzberg lab. The good doctor had been conducting experiments to slow the aging process, before a catastrophic accident in the lab took his life and turned him into a Zombie.

The objective of the game is to get out of the room within an hour and before the scary zombie gets you. They escape by solving puzzles and following clues to open the door. Of course, with the team comprised of great scientific minds, they escape within only 6 minutes. You can watch the fun room escape games experience on YouTube.
